Switzerland has been fully associated to Horizon 2020 since early 2017. The first day of the event will focus on the novelties of the new EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, "Horizon Europe", and Swiss participation in it. High-level speakers from the European Commission and the State Secretariat for Research and Innovation will provide information on the latest developments. The current framework programme, Horizon 2020, will go on until 2020.

Norwegian actors can apply for funding on equal footing with enterprises, public sector bodies and research institutions in EU member states.
